Effects of The Kınık Tribe in Dialect of Alaşehir


Certainly in the formation of dialects in Anatolia, the migration of Oghuz phratries (Kayı, Kınık, Salur, Avşar v.s) to this region has been the most important factor. The distribution of phratries in the various parts of the region has not been determined yet. To solve and clarify this issue, long term and comprehensive studies are needed to be carried out. Dialects are important sources of the language. A dialect’s specialities which is used in a common area by the local inhabitants may help to answer some guestions about the past. To this end, in this study the language features the texts collected from the villages of Alaşehir, Manisa and these features have been compared with those of Kınık phratry.
