The Suffix and Conjugation of a Different Past Perfect Tense in Turkish Dialects: -Ip / -Up, -Ipduru / -Upduru

There are two historical tenses in Turkish and they have been used since the Old Turkish period. The past time suffixes are -dI / -dU attachments. The explanation of this suffix as the past tense is that the action took place in front of the speaker in the past. Our past perfect tense suffixes are -mIş /-mUş attachments. These attachments indicate that the action took place at a time when the past was not seen. In our standard Turkish, only -mIş / -mUş attachments are used as past perfect tense suffixes today. However, in the historical course of the Turkish language, the past perfect tenses have been used different suffixes apart from the -mIş / -mUş attachments. Some of them are forgotten, and some of them continue to be used in different Turkish patoises and dialects. -Ip / -Up, -Ipduru / -Upduru suffixes are also one of the past perfect tense attachments in Turkish. It is seen that these suffixes, which we do not use today in our standard Turkish, were used for the first time as a time in the period of Khwarezm Turkish. In this study, Turkish historical periods of Turkish patoises after emphasized that past perfect tense is learned in Turkish dialects, especially Van Lake Basin in the dialects (Van, Erciş, Ahlat, Adilcevaz, Bulanık), Kars dialect and Aydın and the area is used as the past perfect tense suffix found in the dialect -Ip / -Up, -Ipduru / -Upduru the origin of attachments, with the meaning and the historical periods of Turkish and Turkish dialects will focus on areas of Turkish dialects.
