Ministry of National Education (MONE) put into action Regulations of Advancement in Career Ladders for Teachers in 2005. MONE has appointed teachers by making master teacher and head teacher exams. These regulations which is based on this appointment which was much debated and wasn’t continued is still valid but is not implemented. The aim of this study is to identify the views of teachers on career ladders and it is a descriptive survey model study. The population of the study is composed of 1446 teachers in Nazilli and Karacasu counties in Aydin. The sample is composed of 345 people (25 of whom are principal and 320 of whom are teachers). For data collection, the scale “Teacher Views about the Application of Advancement in Career Ladders” which is developed by the researcher. Reliability of the scale is ?=.941. Total variance explained by the scale is % 61,5. Sub-dimensions and their reliability scores are: Career ladders application is ?=.947, Social activities is ?=.954, Academic achievement is ?=.889, Exam content is ?=.702. For data analysis descriptive and inferential statistics techniques. Some of the findings are that: The dimention which teachers’ views are the highest is “Academic Achievement”, the dimention which teachers’ views are the lowes is “Social Activities”. Male attendants’ views of carreer ladders are more positive than female ones. In the Career Ladders Application sub-dimention, level of agreement of the master teachers is higher than the agreement levels of teachers. The level of agreement of teachers on the items in the sub-dimension Social Activities, is higher than master teachers’ level of agreement. The level of agreement of administrators on the items in the sub-dimension Career Ladders Application, is higher than teachers’ level of agreement.
