An Eco-Friendly Prophet: Hz. Muhammad

In this article, we will try to present the opinions of the Holy Prophet about the environment. The narratives which emphasize his teachings on environment has been ranked among classical hadith sources disorderly. According to These narratives, The Holy Prophet is the greatest environmentalist in the world. The Holy Prophet used to do some acts to save the ecological balance of nature throughout his life. The foremost ones of these acts were not to waste natural sources and keeping clean the environmental elements. He used to take care of vegetation and trees as long as he lives. In this respect, The Holy Prophet urges his companions to protect trees. Before battles, he always gave instruction to his soldiers not to cut down a tree and not to burn farms or gardens. In addition, he gave many advises which clarifies to contemporary understanding of urban development. He took steps actively for a more liveable and green world. The Holy Prophet thought that contacting with environment friendly is a part of responsibility. Definitely everyone who wants to live the paradise in this world, should take samples his ideas on environment.
