Arapça kökenli “cenap” ve “hazret” kelimeleri Türkçede genellikle tamlamalarda; tamlamaların başında veya sonunda kullanılır. Örnek: Cenab-ı Hak, Prens cenapları; Hazret-i Ali, Sultan hazretleri… Ancak bu kelimeler isim cinsinden olmalarına karşın “Cenab-ı Hak, Hazret-i Ali” gibi tamlamalarda sıfat olarak algılanmaktadır. Burada kelime türü bakımından bir farklılaşma söz konusudur.
The words “cenap” and “hazret”, which are from Arabic, are used in Turkish language generally at the word groups; either in front of the word groups or at the back. Example: Cenab-ı Hak, Prens cenapları; Hazret-i Ali, Sultan hazretleri… But even though these words are noun origin in fact, they are thought as adjectives, such as “Cenab-ı Hak, Hazret-i Ali” in noun groups. There is a difference here about the word type.
