Bu çalışmada kaynaklara göre XV. yüzyılın ikinci yarısıyla XVI. yüzyılın başlarında yaşadığı kabul edilen Sabâyî’nin Üveys-nâme adlı mesnevisi üzerinde durulacaktır. Üveys-nâme yazıldığı dönem itibariyle gerek ses özellikleri, gerekse yapısı yönüyle Türkçenin tarihi gelişimini yansıtan, önem atfedilmesi gereken bir eserdir.
In this study, it will be focused on the Üveys-nâme of Sabâyî who is believed to have lived from the second half of the 15th century to the early 16th century according to the sources. Üveys-nâme the importance of which should be attached is a literary work that has carried the historical development of Turkish language in terms of both phonetics and morphological as regard to the period it was written.
