Yazdığı tek bir eserle günümüze kadar gelen sanatçılar vardır. Eski Türk edebiyatında tek bir şiirle dikkati çeken şairlerden birisi de 1144/1731-32 yılında vefat eden XVIII. yüzyıl şairlerinden Balıkesirli Rasih Bey'dir. Râsih Bey'in ikilemeler üzerine inşâ ettiği “üstine” redifli meşhur gazeli hem kendi döneminde ve hem de sonraki dönemlerde tanınan pek çok Türk şairini etkilemiş ve onlar tarafından tanzîr edilmiştir.
There are some authors who still live in literature by writing just one book. In Classical Turkish Literature, Râsih Bey from Balıkesir living between 1144-1731-31, takes attention with his just one poem. His “üstine” rhymed ghazel effected both his term’s poets and poets who lived after Râsih Bey’s death. A lot of poem were written modeled his this poem in respect to both content form.
