Geçmişten bu güne kent yaşamındaki çeşitlilik sosyoloji, felsefe, mimarlık gibi alanların konusu olmuştur. Bilimlerin disiplinler arası çalışmaları ile daha iyi bir yaşamın nasıl kurgulanacağı, mevcut yaşamda görülen eksikliklerin ne şekilde giderilebileceği araştırılmıştır. Kentlerin planlanması için çözüm önerileri aranmaktadır. Bu bağlamda “ideal kent” nasıl olmalıdır? sorusu gündeme gelmiştir. Bu soruya önerilen cevaplardan biri Ebenezer Howard’ın “Bahçeşehir” fikri olmuştur. Bahçeşehircilik zaman içinde dönüşmüş, döneme göre yorumlanmıştır. Çalışmada Ankara’da Jansen’in Bahçeşehir yorumu dikkate alınarak, Bahçeşehrin izleri aranmıştır. Çalışmada öncelikle Bahçeşehircilik ve H. Jansen ilişkisi, Ankara/Türkiye planlamasında Jansen ve Bahçeşehirciliğin yeri ve Türkiye planlamasında işçi konutları planlanması okuyucuya aktarılmıştır. Ardından Bahçeşehirciliğin bir yorumu olduğu düşünülen, SSK İşçi Blokları’nın mevcut durumu gözlem ve analizlerle belgelenmiş, mekânsal özellikleri ve kullanımına dair bilgiler sunulmuştur. Analizlerden elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda, SSK İşçi Bloklarının Bahçeşehir kurgusu tartışılmıştır. SSK İşçi Blokları’nın mekânsal kurgusu incelendiğinde ise Howard’ın Bahçeşehri ve Jansen’in Bahçeşehir çevirisinden izleri ve aykırılıkları barındırdığı görülmüştür. Bahçeşehir 19yy’da literatüre girmiş, ileri dönemlerde dönemin koşullarına uyarlama, çevirme, yorumlama gibi müdahalelerle varlığını korumuştur. Bu bağlamda Jansen’in Ankara kurgusu Bahçeşehir yorumu olarak varsayılmaktadır. SSK İşçi Blokları incelemesinde ise,  yerleşkenin Jansen’in Bahçeşehir yorumlarından etkilenen bir yerleşim olduğu çıkarılmıştır. SSK İşçi Blokları hem fiziksel nitelikleri hem de barındırdığı sosyal ilişkileri sebebiyle korunmaya, iyileştirmeye konu olmalıdır. Böylelikle bu alternatif Bahçeşehir modeli, varlığını sürdürerek başkent Ankara’da metropolleşmeyen, plazalaşmayan, nefes alan bir yer olmaya devam edecektir.

From past to present, diversity in urban life has been the subject of fields such as sociology, philosophy, and architecture. With the interdisciplinary studies of the sciences, it has been investigated how to construct a better life and how to eliminate the deficiencies in the current life. Solutions for planning cities are being sought. In this context, how should the "ideal city" be? The question has arisen. One of the proposed answers to this question was Ebenezer Howard's idea of “Garden City”. Garden City has transformed over time and has been interpreted according to the period. In the study, Garden City was searched by taking into account Jansen's interpretation of Garden City in Ankara. In the study, Garden City and H. The Jansen relationship, the place of Jansen and Garden City in Ankara planning, and the workers' housing in Turkey were transferred to the reader. Afterward, the current situation of the SSK Workers' Blocks, thought to be an interpretation of Garden City was documented by observations and analyses, and information about their spatial characteristics and use was presented. According to the data obtained from the analyses, the Garden City idea of SSK Workers ' Blocks was discussed. When the SSK Workers' Blocks were examined, it was found that the SSK workers' blocks contained traces and contradictions from Howard's Garden City and Jansen’s interpretation of Garden City. Garden City entered the literature in 19yy, in advanced periods, Garden City have preserved its existence with adaptation to the conditions of the period, translation, interpretation. In this context, Jansen's Ankara fiction is assumed to be a Garden City interpretation. In the SSK Workers’ Blocks review, it was found that the settlement was a settlement influenced by Jansen's Garden City interpretations.
