The original version of these productions are distributed and their formats are imported. Turkish Dramas also include adaptations from K-Drama. The starting point of the study is the fact that Mucize Doktor which is an adaptation of Korean serials, was the most shared series broadcasted between 2012-2019. The production was examined in terms of genres, broadcasting time and rating successes. Content analysis is used as the methodology of the study. Accordingly, the effect of K-Dramas on Turkish dramas was examined. K-dramas increase from 2012 to 2019. Especially, for K-drama adaptations are the most intense period between 2015-2017. In 2018 and beyond, drama formats are also imported from Asian countries such as Japan. The content purchased in the K-drama adaptations is comedy and romantic comedy, especially Drama. Korean Drama adaptations are broadcasted in prime timeda, the time frame where the audience is most likely to reach and connect with the screen. Considering the success of the K-drama adaptations, 11 of the 33 K-drama adaptations have fewer parts than their original productions and the productions were terminated early. Of the remaining 22 dramas ended with a number close to or more episodes the K-drama they were adapted to. Accordingly, it is seen that the productions adapted from K-drama will continue to take place in the Turkish Drama field in the future.},author={Ümit SARI-Onur AKYOL - Türkan Türkay ÜNLÜ},year={2020},journal={Turkish Studies-Social Sciences}}
