İmam-Hatip Liseleri kuruluşundan itibaren Türk Milli Eğitim Sistemi içinde yerini alan, sistemin bir parçası olarak, seçmeli ders, ders geçme, sınıf geçme sistemi vb. genel ortaöğretimdeki bütün uygulamalara adapte olabilen ortaöğretim kurumları olarak eğitim-öğretim hayatına devam etmektedir. Bu okullardan yetişen öğrenciler meslekleri icabı toplum önünde olan insanlar olacaktır. Bundan dolayı kişilikleri ile de örnek teşkil deceklerdir. İmam Hatip Lisesi öğrencilerinde bulunması gereken veya öğrencilerde eksik görülen değer ve becerilerin ne olduğu ile ilgili bilgileri, öğrencilerin mesleki yönelimleri ile ilgili görüşleri ve geri dönütü yine o öğrencilerin derslerine giren öğretmenlerinden almak araştırma için önem arz etmektedir. Araştırmada İmam Hatip Lisesi öğrencilerinde bulunması gereken değer ve beceriler nelerdir? İmam Hatip Lisesi öğrencileri hangi mesleğe yönelmeli/yönlendirilmelidir? sorularına İmam Hatip Lisesinde derse giren çeşitli branşlardaki öğretmenlerin görüşleri çerçevesinde cevap aranmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Osmaniye’de bulunan İmam Hatip Liselerinde görev yapan öğretmenler olup, merkezde dört okul olmak üzere çeşitli branşlarda toplam 112 öğretmen ise araştırmanın örneklemini teşkil etmektedir. Örneklemin belirlenmesinde olasılığa dayalı grup (küme) örneklem kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, öğrencilerde eksik olduğu düşünülen veya bulunması gereken değer/beceri sıralamasında vatan sevgisi, aile, toplum ve buna bağlı olarak da adalet ve dürüstlük kavramları ön plana çıkmıştır. Mesleki yönelim olarak da öğretmenler çoğunlukla, öğrencileri her alanda görmek istediklerini söylemişlerdir.

Imam-Hatip High Schools have been included in the Turkish National Education System since its establishment. As part of the system, elective course system, course passing system, classroom passing system, etc. can adapt to all applications in general secondary education continues to education as secondary education institutions. The students who grow up here will be people who are in front of the society due to their profession. Therefore, they set an example with their personalities. It is important for the research to get the information about the values and skills that should be present in the students of Imam Hatip High School or what is missing in the students, their opinions about the professional orientation of the students and the feedback from the teachers of those students. What are the values and skills that Imam Hatip High School students should have in the research? Which profession should Imam Hatip High School students direct? questions were searched within the framework of the opinions of teachers in various branches of the Imam Hatip High School. The population of the research is the teachers who work in Imam Hatip High Schools in Osmaniye and 112 teachers in four different branches in the center constitute the sample of the research. Probability- based group (cluster) sampling was used to determine the sample. As a result, the concepts of love of homeland, family, society, and justice and honesty have come to the forefront in the value / skill rankings that are thought to be missing or should be found. In terms of professional orientation, teachers mostly stated that they wanted to see students in every field.
