When the dialectology studies of Kazan Tatar Turkish, which is one of the Turkish dialects of Idil-Ural area, are examined, it is seen that the researchers accept the existence of three main dialect groups which are composed of many accents, with some exceptions, considering the spreading area of this Turkish dialect. These; Middle, Misher and West Sibir Tatars. The middle dialect group, which has a wide geography in the Tatar-Bashkir language field of the speeches of these dialect groups, has a special importance. The common view accepted by the Tatar dialectologists is that it is based on the phonetic and lexical traits of the middle dialect group. Kazan Ardı dialects, which is the subject of our study, is located in the middle dial group. This dialect group consists of the names Mamadış, Layış, Döbyaz and Baltaç. Kazan Ardı dialect, which is the closest to the characteristics of Kazan Tatar Turkish, is Baltaç dialect. When examining the Kazan Ardı dialects, there are several phonetic and morphological features that differ from the written language. For example, the distinctive phonetic properties of some of these dialects are: Significantly rounded off of the /a/ vowel in the first syllable position and next to the /b/, /p/, /ķ/ consonants (aºlma, aºpa, aºvıl, baºķça, baºlıķ, ķaºr), using /c-/ instead of /y-/ (Kaz.T.Tü.yd. yıl > cıl ‘year’, Kaz.T.Tü.yd. yuk > cuk ‘nope’), /z-/ instead of /c-/ (Kaz.T.Tü.yd. cidĩ > zidĩ ‘seven’), /k-/ instead of /ħ-/ (Kaz.T.Tü.yd. ħatın > katın “woman, lady (wife), lady”) sounds in the pre-sound position in the writing language. The morphological features that differ from the written language in some of the Kazan Ardı dialects are: The use of -sıgızd, -sĩgĩzd suffixes as a second plural person suffix in the present tense, as a interrogative particle using the -ma, -me suffixes, instead of -rak, -rek suffixes use of -(ın)tınnan, -(ĩn)tĩnnen suffixes. In our study, the studies on the dialects of Kazan Tatar Turkish will be searched and the characteristics of the Kazan Ardı dialects differing from the written language will be determined with examples. Synchronic and comparative method will be used in the study. Our aim in this study is to set an example for future studies of field researchers in Kazan Tatar Turkic language due to the scarcity of studies conducted in our country.
