Çocuk edebiyatı ürünlerinin temel bir özelliği olarak çocuğa görelik, eserin çocuğun dil, zihin ve duygu gelişimine katkı sağlayacak, sanat ve estetik algısı kazandırabilecek unsurları içermesidir. Çocuklar için yazılan eserler (hikâye, şiir ) çocukların kelime dağarcığını geliştirmeli, içeriği ile görselleri uyumlu ve birbirini tamamlayıcı olmalı, çocuğu sosyal ve psikolojik olarak hayata da hazırlamalıdır. Çocuk kitapları, hem konu, tema, dil özellikleriyle hem de kapak, cilt, tasarım ve resim öğeleri bakımından birbirini tamamlayıcı anlamlı bir bütün oluşturmalıdır. 2012 yılında, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Kültür Bakanlığı tarafından yürütülen ve kısa adı “TEDA” olan “Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı Türk Kültür, Sanat ve Edebiyat Eserlerinin Dışa Açılımını Destekleme Projesi” kapsamında bazı çocuk hikâye kitapları Özbekçe’ye çevrilmiştir. Özbek şair Miraziz A’zam tarafından Türkçe’den Özbekçe’ye çevrilen ve 2013 yılında Taşkent’te yayımlanan bu kitaplar “Leylek Karda Kaldı”, “Geceleri Mızıka Çalan Kedi” ve “Yıldız Tozu” adlı hikâye kitaplarıdır. Kitapların incelenmesinde araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan ve içerik özelliklerine dair ölçütleri barındıran “Çocuk Kitaplarında Çocuğa Görelik Özelliğini Belirleme Formu” kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. İnceleme sonucunda bu kitapların çocuğa görelik ilkelerini kısmen uygun ve uygun derecesinde sağladığı anlaşılmaktadır. Kitaplardaki hikâyeler geleneksel anlatılara ait motifleri barındırmakta ve konu olarak insan, doğa ve toplum ilişkilerini kapsamaktadır. Hikâyelerde, çocuk kahramanların yakın çevrelerini ve kendi hayatlarını merkeze alan olayların çocuk okuyucuların ilgisini çekebileceği düşünülmektedir.

As a key feature of children's literature products, the principle of suitability to child means that the work includes the elements which will be able to let the child gain the sense of art and aesthetics and will contribute to the child's linguistic, mental and emotional development. The works written for children (story/poem) should extend their vocabulary; the content of which should be in accordance with their images and mutually complementary, and all they should prepare the child for life as socially and psychologically. Children's books are necessary to constitute a meaningful whole in respect to both its properties related to subject, theme, language and the elements of its paperback, design and pictures. Within the scope of "The Ministry of Culture and Tourism Project to Support for Dissemination of Turkish Culture, Art and Literature" which was run by the Republic of Turkey's Ministry of Culture in 2012 and abbreviated as "TEDA", some children's storybooks were translated into the Uzbek language. These books, translated from Turkish to Uzbek by the Uzbek poet Miraziz A'zam and published in Tashkent in 2013, are the story books named "Leylek Karda Kaldı", "Geceleri Mızıka Çalan Kedi" and "Yıldız Tozu". In the analysis of the books, "The Form for Determining the Feature of Suitability to Child in Children's Books" prepared by the researchers and including the criteria for content properties was used. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive analysis method. As a result of the analysis, it is seen that these books can meet the criteria to the extent of partial suitability and as to be suitable in terms of the principles of suitability to child. The stories in the books involve the themes and/or patterns pertaining to traditional narrations and contain the man, nature and community relations as the subject. In the stories, it is considered that the events dealing with the child protagonists' immediate circles and own lives in the centre will be able to attract the child readers' interest.
