Education Information Network (EIN) is a technological tool which has a rich content and which is formed to service the goals of teachers and students by addressing individual differences in education. The present study investigated the influence of EIN-aided learning environments on students’ learning the concepts of “Measurement of Force and Friction”. In the study, the simple experimental design with a single pretest-posttest group, one of quantitative research approaches, was used. In order to determine the research sample, the simple random sampling method was used, and a total of 33 elementary school 5th grade students were selected as the participants of the study. In the study, 10 open-ended questions prepared by the researchers in a way to cover the concepts of “Measurement of Force and Friction” were used as the data collection tool. For the comparison of the data collected before and after the application process, dependent t-test was applied. The students’ responses to the open-ended questions were analyzed using the categories of ‘Fails to understand’, ‘Misunderstands’, ‘Partially understands with certain misconception, ‘Partially understands’ and ‘Fully understands’. The dependent samples t-test results regarding the single-group pretest-posttest applications revealed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest, showing that EIN-aided education had positive influence on the students’ learning the concepts. The results suggest that further research could be conducted to investigate the influence of EIN-aided educational applications on students’ success within the scope of different lesson units of the course of Science, in other courses and at different class grades.

Today, technology is expressed as the age of knowledge has become very easy to achieve thanks to the development of information and communication technologies. But there are some problems that can make it so easy for us to know that our time has come. The beginning of these is whether the information obtained is real and correct information. Individuals need to have information literacy competencies in order to be able to understand whether the information obtained is correct or not. An individual who is knowledge literate feels more comfortable in solving a problem that he or she is experiencing in education. It is an important part of personal development that the individual accepts the information obtained correctly from the right source and activates it by integrating it into his life. It is important for the students to identify themselves, especially the identification of the individual developmental orientations of the students in the education age. The purpose of this research is to examine whether there is a relationship between the level of information literacy and the personal developmental orientation of the child development program students. A screening model was used to collect the research data. Participants of the research constitute students of the 122 Child Development Program students who graduated from Sakarya University Health Services Vocational High School in the academic year 2016-2017. In order to collect data in the research, "Information Literacy Scale" developed by Adıgüzel (2011) and "Personal Growth Initiative Scale II" developed by Robitschek, Ashton, Spering, Geiger, Byers, Schotts & Thoen (2012) and adapted to Turkish by Yalçın and Malkoç (2013) was used. It has been observed that students participating in the study have a high level of information literacy. The level of information literacy of the students did not differ according to the level of the classes they had studied, whereas it was different according to the types of high school graduation. It has also been observed that students are prone to high levels of personal development. Another result is that the child development program students' personal development orientations do not differ according to the class levels they are studying and the types of high school graduation. Another consequence is that there is no significant relationship between information literacy levels of the child development program students and personal developmental orientations in terms of readiness to change, plannedness, use of resources and behavioral sub-dimensions.

In this study the credit card transactions between the years 2011-2016 have been analyzed to evaluate the development in e-commerce transaction volume in our country. With this study, it has been determined that the national e-commerence transaction volume of the local credit cards has increased by %283 while the international e-commerce transaction volume has increased by %278 in last six years. On the other hand, the e-commerce transaction volume of the international credit cards’ transactions has increased by %123. This study reveals that the e-commerce volume has gradually risen in the last six years and also envisages that this tendency in rise would continue. The main reasons behind this increase are the developments in internet and communication technologies. It has been compared yearly national e-commerce transaction volume with result of “Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Usage Survey on Households and Individuals” by conducted Turkey Statistical Institute (TSI). As a result, e-commerce transaction volume in our country is increasing in parallel to the developments in internet and communication technologies. As a result, e-commerce in our country is in a continuous increase and development trend, depending on the developments in information and communication technologies. New developments will continue to add different dimensions to e-commerce. Considering the contributions to the country's economy today, it has strategic pre-requisites to support countries' e-commerce activities and to implement technological infrastructure investments and legal regulations that will remove obstacles in front of them. Turkey should take place in the global competition race in the e-commerce field. For this, our country should take the necessary steps in the technological, strategic and legal arrangements that will contribute to the development of e-commerce and provide all the necessary support and encouragement.

Technological developments in recent years indicate that much of the training and examinations will take place over the web in the near future as is the case with many inland areas. In every education and training year by special talent exams students are taken to Physical Education and Sports Education Faculty, Sports Management and Coaching and Recreation Departments that are extensions of ouruniversities of Sports Science Faculty and School of Physical Education and Sports. In these examinations, in addition to physical qualification tests such as parcour, coordination and branch, candidates' weighted high school GPA, points of high er education examination are also takenin to consideration. All the stages such as; Announcement of the examination and the phase of application, evaluation of the applications, announcement of the winning candidates and the conclusion of there gistration process are maintained manually by the jury that is formed by Faculties and Vocational Schools. Since the examinations are taking too much time for the personnel who are obliged to take the exam, a web-based online examination system has been prepared in order to minimize the errors in the process of taking, analyzing, evaluating and finalizing the data. It has been observed that the Web-Based Online Examination System, which is written in coding, is a suitable system in terms of functionality. In this study, Web-Based Online Examination System, which is developed for alleviating the work load, accelerating the process and ensuring more reliance by transfering manual processes to digital media, will be discussed. After many trials of the software it has been used successfully between the years of Educationand Teaching 2014-2016 in Special TalentExams of Ardahan University School of Physical Education and Sports School at 3 years.

It is the first script hieroglyphs that arise from the necessity in social and ekonomic to record the numbers that are not in memory, to record the words, to make them permanent. The article that we use today and representing the sounds of natural language has taken its present case at the end of a very slow evolutionary process. At the present time , every scope of life has been mediated, the opportunities for communication have increased, and the means of digital communication have diversified. As a result of this , emotion icons (emoticones), which can be shown as relatives to hieroglyphs, have taken place in digital communication. There are three important reasons of this status. These are : the platitude of phonetic notation , the speed of digital commucation, the need to represent of speaker in communication. The most important element of the communication medium is not only the speaker and the listener ; their faces and mimics. The emotion icons that break the platitude of digital communication add the emotion and thought of the speaker to the communication environment by representing face and mimic of the speaker and listener. Since emotion icons that can also be regarded as emotional interjection, can convey to listener a lot of emotional and intellectual information about the speaker in written digital communication , provides a practical emotional opportunity in written digital comminication. In this study, emotion icons which are frequently used in today's digital communication media are studied in terms of historical development and frequency of use, some semantic distributions. The emotion icons add the mimic and gestures of the natural language to the digital writing language and reinforce the speech form of written communication. Emotion icons that got involved in article in digital communication, are able to attach to natural language to the abstract plane of the writing language. Digital communication which is the medium combining of abstract and concrete , has been added as a new form to the changing language in the digital age.
