The integration of e-learning into education and training has been promoted by a variety of drivers, despite attendant barriers. However, to date, there is a lack of research examining the understanding of the practices of pre-service teachers in developing countries, in terms of their willingness to adopt e-learning. Therefore, the authors of this paper investigated the extent to which pre-service teachers are prepared to embark on e-learning. With this aim in mind, the authors examine several factors that affect e-learning, such as technology, experience, and confidence. To address these issues, a web-based survey was distributed to programs related to pre-service teachers in higher education institutions in Turkey. In response to this invitation, 233 pre-service teachers expressed an interest in being involved in the survey with 174 answering all questions. Descriptive and inferential statistics were computed to analyse the readiness of pre-service teachers. The findings revealed that the stakeholders of Turkish universities need to consider several factors before integrating e-learning into primary teacher education. In particular, issues affecting access to the Internet and the prior experiences of pre-service teachers with various ICT and personalized learning materials should be evaluated. Overall, we believe the study indicates that the readiness of pre-service teachers for e-learning may have a significant impact on the

Technology is a very powerful tool that provides many opportunities for distance education. Today, many distance education instructors incorporate technology into their traditional classrooms. The most well-known technology is computers. However, computers do not overcome many barriers which arise between the students and instructor on its own, because teaching mathematics requires a great deal of visualization in order to acquire a deeper insight into the fundamental elements and underlying principles of fields. The graphic tablet has potential to allow new and faster delivery and better communication opportunities for mathematic teaching. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to obtain the views of students and faculty members towards using graphic tablets in mathematics course in distance education. For this purpose a questionnaire developed and semi-structured interviews were used for the study. A total of 221 students, whose ages range from 18 to 40 years participated in this study. A total of four faculty members from Gazi University who are experienced in using graphic tablet for distance education and have been using tablet for a long time were participated in this study. The analysis of the questionnaire was conducted by using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS 16). Students and faculty members' comments were analyzed content analysis technique. Depending on the findings, students have quite positive views towards using graphic tablet which is actually designed as a drawing tool for graphic designers. Students and faculty members thinks that graphic tablets can be a solution for the problems such as providing motivation and following the lecture step by step in distance education.

Nowadays, machine learning methods are used in almost every field. The use of machine learning methods in the field of veterinary field is quite new and it is known that successful results have been obtained in veterinary studies. The decline in animal and animal production affects the country's economy in the worst way. It is very important to use artificial learning methods in the veterinary field in order to increase the demand for animal husbandry and to facilitate the work of the veterinarian. In this study, the values in the data set were normalized by minimum-maximum, decimal scaling, z-score and sigmoid normalization techniques in order to observe the effect of normalization techniques on artificial neural network performance. Then, for the diagnosis of disease in the lambs, the raw data set and the four obtained data sets were used to classify by artificial neural network method. As a result of the study, the most unsuccessful results were obtained without classifying the raw data set (accuracy = 0.837, sensitivity = 0.118, specificity = 0.977, f-measure = 0.19) and the most successful results were obtained with the z-score data set (accuracy = 0.902, sensitivity = 0.267, specificity = 1, f-measure = 0.421).

This study aims to examine the relationship between internet addiction and trait anxiety levels of students attending secondary education institutions. The study was conducted following a relational screening model. The population of the research is constituted by secondary education students studying in state schools in Yeşilyurt and Battalgazi provinces in Malatya in 2016-2017 academic year. Stratified sampling method was utilized in the selection of the sample. A total of 529 students, 275 participants studying in general secondary education institutions and 254 participants in vocational and technical secondary education institutions, were included in the sample. The Internet Addiction Test (IAT) was used to measure the presence of Internet dependency among students. This scale is a developed 20-item form of the 7-item diagnostic questionnaire adapted from DSM-IV's "Psychoactive Substance Addiction" scale by Kimberley Young (1998) to determine "Pathological Internet Usage". The Turkish adaptation study of the scale was carried out by Bayraktar (2001) in the TRNC. State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) was utilized to measure the trait anxiety levels of the students. This inventory was developed by (Spielberg et al.,1970) The reliability and validity study of the scale in Turkey was carried out by Öner and Le Compte. In the research was used Trait Anxiety Inventory.
The purpose of this study is to determine the opinions of pre-school teachers about the use of the technological equipment and materials used in classroom education and their purposes. Children meet many technological developments in pre-school period. Therefore, teachers’ opinion towards technology is very important. It is also necessary to acquire knowledge and skills such as the ability to make use of the computer for pre-school children and to prepare appropriate materials. In this study, teachers' opinions towards technological materials were examined. This study was conducted with 62 pre-school teachers in total of 48 women and 14 men. In the analysis of the study, a screening model was used. The screening model is a research approach aimed at identifying what is in the past or what is still present (Karasar, 2008). The result of the literature search, a semi-structured form was used as a data collection tool. The researcher and interviewer make communicative partnerships, which simplify discussion. The results of this study showed that preschool teachers have positive opinion to technological materials. The educator understood that if they reflected the habits of using information technologies in the educational environment, they would provide a more effective educational environment. Technology has potential to improve the quality of education when it is used adequately. However, when technological materials are used unnecessarily, they push children to be asocial and addicted to technology. In addition, the excessive use of these materials in the classroom reduces the attention of the children to the materials and distracts them.
