Establishment: The journal was separated from Turkish Studies (e-ISSN 1308-2140) in 2019 and was established as a specialized subject journal.

Aim: The aim of Turkish Studies-Language and Literature (e-ISSN 2667-5641) is to provide an open-access academic ground where researchers working in the field of language and literature can share and disseminate their findings.

Scope: Turkish Studies-Language and Literature publishes studies in the field of language and literature

Sub-subjects: Modern Turkic Languages and Literatures, Translation Studies, World Languages and Literature, Ancient Languages and Cultures, Comparative Literature, Classical Turkish Literature, Turkish Language, Turkish Folklore, Modern Turkish Literature.

Categories of Manuscript: Turkish Studies-Language and Literature publishes studies such as research article, review article, theoretical article, opinion article, case report, opinion letter, teaching practice, translation), meeting abstract, book review, legislation review, decision review, film review, conference paper, and short communication.

Frequency/Period: Turkish Studies-Language and Literature publishes four issues (March, June, September, December) per year. From 2023 the Journal publishes a maximum of 40 articles in each issue.

Primary Language: Primary Language is Turkish. The language of articles can be English, Russian, German, French.

Submission: Submitted manuscripts must not have been published previously nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Electronic via the Web only: The journal only accepts submissions via the Web at http://www.turkishstudies.net/language-yonetim

Article Publication Charges (APCs): Authors are not charged under any name before or after publication. Authors and reviewers are not paid.

 Peer-review system: The journal uses a double-sided blind review system.

Plagiarism Screening: Authors must also upload a document from iThenticate or intihal.net showing the similarity rate when uploading their articles. The similarity rate can be maximum 20%.  

Avg. Number of Weeks from Submission to Publication:  16
