Her mesleğin belli kural ve kaideleri olduğu gibi vicdani hassasiyetleri de bulunmaktadır. Öğretmenlik mesleği de kutsal bir vazife olup aynı zamanda toplumsal alanla ilgilidir. Bu süreçte yoğun bir iletişim ve etkileşim ağı söz konusudur. Birey yetiştiren, öğrencilerin toplumda belli bir yer edinmesini sağlayan öğretmenlerden beklentiler de bu kapsamda daha yüksek düzeyde olabilmektedir. Öğretmenler bu bilinçle mesleğini yürütürken eğitim süreçlerine etki eden çeşitli faktörler vardır. Bunlardan biri öğretmenlikle ilgili mevzuatlardır. Diğeri toplumsal beklentiler ve özellikle velilerin tutumlarıdır. Bir diğeri ise vicdandır. Buraya farklı maddeler de ilave edilebilir ama bu çalışmada amaç öğretmenlik mesleğinde vicdan olgusunun önemi ile ilgili sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin algılarını araştırmak, incelemek ve değerlendirmektir.
Araştırma Kayseri ilindeki ortaokullarda sosyal bilgiler öğretmenleri ile yürütülmüştür. Yapılan nitel araştırmada öğretmenlik mesleğinde mevzuat, vicdan veya toplumsal beklentilerden hangisinin daha öncelikli bir rolü veya etkisi olabileceği incelenmiştir. Vicdani hassasiyetlerin toplumdaki yeri hakkında değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Değerler konusu dâhilinde vicdani hususlara ne ölçüde yer verildiğine ilişkin de tespitler yapılmıştır. Bulgular, sonuç ve önerilerle birlikte çalışmada yer verilmiştir.
Every profession has certain rules and rules, as well as conscientious sensitivities. The teaching profession is also a sacred duty and at the same time with the social sphere. In this process, there is an intense communication and interaction network. When the trainer gains a certain place in the reproductive society, the rest of the teachers can progress at a higher level in this context. While teachers are carrying out their profession with this awareness, there are factors that affect their educational processes. One of these is legislation on teaching. It is the calls of others and especially the attitudes of parents. Another is conscience. Different items can be added here, but this purpose is to investigate, examine and evaluate the perceptions of social studies teachers about the importance of conscience in the teaching profession.
The research carry out with social studies teachers in secondary schools in the province of Kayseri. In the qualitative research, which of the legislation, conscience or societies might have a priority role or effect in the teaching profession was examined. An evaluation has been made about the place of conscientious sensibilities in society. It has also been determined to what extent conscientious matters are included in the issue of values. Findings are included with results and recommendations.
