Bu araştırmanın amacı; geleneksel mesleki gelişim etkinliklerden farklı bir uygulama olan ders imecesi (Lesson study) modeli ile sınıf öğretmenlerinin öğretim becerilerini geliştirebilmesinin incelenmesidir. Okulun öğrenciler için olduğu kadar öğretmenler için de bir öğrenme ortamı haline getirilmesi ve öğretmenlerin öğretim becerileri düzeylerine okul temelli mesleki gelişim uygulaması olan ders imecesi uygulaması ile katkı sunmak amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırma yöntemi karma araştırma yöntemi olup nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tek grup ön test-son test modeli ile nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden eylem araştırması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu İzmir ili Bornova ilçesinde görev yapan 10 sınıf öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın veri toplama araçları olarak, “öğretim becerileri ölçeği, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu, öğretmen gözlem formu kullanılmıştır. Katılımcı öğretmenlerle yapılan görüşmeler ve ders gözlemleri sonucunda öğretmenlerin, öğretim becerileri yönelimlerinin iyi olduğu fakat bu becerileri sınıflarında uygulayamadıkları görülmüştür. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre; Ders imecesi uygulamasının öğretmenlerin ‘öğretim becerilerini’ arttırdığı yargısına ulaşılmıştır Ders imecesi ile öğrenme ortamının eğlenceli hale geldiği, öğretmenlerin mesleki ve sosyal iletişimlerinin arttığı, kendi değerlendirmelerini yaptığı, fikir alış verişinde bulunarak yaratıcı yanlarının ortaya çıktığı, derslerin farklı öğretim yöntemleri ile daha verimli hale geldiği ve öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerine olumlu yönde etkisi olduğu görülmüştür. Ders imecesinin sabır ve özenle uygulanması gerekliliği,  ders planlarının yoğun çalışmalar gerçekleştirilerek yapılması, öğretmenlerin kendilerini geliştirme isteği ve motivasyonun olmasının gerekliliği, güncel araştırmaların takip edilmesi ve okul kültürüne uygun bir şekilde uygulamanın gerçekleştirilmesi gerekliliği ders imecesi uygulamasının bilinmesi gereken özellikleri olarak belirtilmiştir.

The purpose of this research; It is to examine the teaching skills development of classroom teachers with the Lesson study model, which is an application different from traditional professional development activities. It was carried out in order to make the school a learning environment for teachers as well as for students and to contribute to the teaching skills of teachers with the practice of course work, which is a school-based professional development practice. The research method is mixed research method, one group pretest-posttest model among quantitative research methods and action research, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The study group of the research consists of 10 classroom teachers working in Bornova district of İzmir province. As the data collection tools of the research, "teaching skills scale, semi-structured interview form, teacher observation form" were used. As a result of the interviews and lesson observations made with the participating teachers, it was seen that the teachers' teaching skills orientation was good, but they could not apply these skills in their classes. According to the results of the research; It has been reached the judgment that the practice of lecture cue improves the 'teaching skills' of teachers, the learning environment becomes enjoyable with the lecture, teachers' Professional and social communication increases, they make their own evaluations, their creative side emerges by exchanging ideas, the lessons become more efficient with different teaching methods, and It has been observed that it has a positive effect on the professional development of teachers. The necessity of applying the course work with patience and diligence, making lesson plans by carrying out intensive studies, the desire of teachers to develop themselves and the need to have motivation, the need to follow up-to-date research and implement it in accordance with the school culture are stated as the features of the lesson writing practice.
