Bu araştırmada; 2006-2007 akademik yılından 2018-2019 akademik yılına kadar uygulanan sınıf öğretmenliği lisans öğretim programının işlevselliği, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı bünyesinde görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin görüşleri doğrultusunda değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Kars İl Merkezinde görev yapan 32 gönüllü sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın örneklemi, seçkisiz örnekleme türlerinden basit seçkisiz yöntemi ile saptanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın yöntemi, durum çalışmasıdır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak yapılandırılmış “öğretmen görüş formu” kullanılmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen verilerin içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin sorulara verdikleri kısa cevaplar sayılarak frekans analizi yapılmıştır. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin görüşleri ile ilgili kodlar belirlenmiş ve öğretmenlerin görüşleri, nedenler sütununda belirtilmiştir. Veriler genel olarak incelendiğinde öğretmenler; sınıf öğretmenliği lisans öğretim programında yer alan meslek bilgisi (MB) derslerinin % 91, alan bilgisi (A) derslerinin %53 ve genel kültür (GK) derslerinin ise %16 oranında öğretmenlik mesleğine katkı sağladığını ifade etmişlerdir. 13 sınıf öğretmeni (%41) sınıf öğretmenliği lisans öğretim programında yeni bir derse gerek olmadığını savunmuşlardır. Nitelikli bir eğitim için önerileri sorulduğunda ise, en sık tekrarlanan önerinin % 37 oranında ilkokullardaki fiziki koşulların iyileştirilmesi iken, bunu %29 oranıyla hizmet öncesi eğitimin niteliği takip etmektedir. Araştırmanın neticesinde sınıf öğretmenlerinin; programda yer alan derslerin öğretmenlik mesleğine katkısı olduğu, ancak programda uygulamaya dönük meslek bilgisi derslerine daha çok ağırlık verilmesi, öğretim elemanlarının teorik dersleri gerçek yaşamla ilişkilendirerek işlemesi ve program geliştirme sürecinde öğretmenlerin görüşlerine daha fazla yer verilmesi şeklinde görüş bildirdikleri tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the functionality of the Primary school teaching undergraduate curriculum implemented from the 2006-2007 academic year to the 2018-2019 academic year, in line with the opinions of primary school teachers working for the Turkish Ministry of National Education. The study group consisted of 32 volunteer primary school teachers working in Kars province center. The studysample was chosen by random sampling method. The method used in this research is case study and the "teacher opinion form" was used as the data collection tool. Content analysis of the data obtained from the study was performed. Frequency analysis was completed by counting the short answers given by the teachers to the questions. In addition, codes related to the opinions of the teachers were determined and the opinions of the teachers were stated in the reasons column. Teachers stated that professional knowledge (PK) courses in the primary education undergraduate curriculum contributed 91%, subject knowledge (SK) courses 53% and general knowledge (GK) courses contributed 16% to the teaching profession. 13 classroom teachers (41%) argued that there is no need for a new course in the primary education undergraduate curriculum. However, when asked for their suggestions, the most frequent suggestion was to improve the physical conditions in primary schools by 37%, followed by the quality of pre-service education at 29%. It was determined that the primary school teaching undergraduate curriculum contributed to the teaching profession, but an emphasize to increase in the practice-oriented professional knowledge (PK) courses in the program, a demand to elevated association of the theoretical courses with real life, and request of more extensive accommodation of teachers' opinions in the program development process were evident.
