Bireyin, konu alanının doğasına, toplum gerçekliğine uygun, çağın bilim ve teknoloji birikimine dayalı bilgi, beceri ve tutumlar öğretimde hedeflerin gerçekleştirilmesi sürecidir. Ülkelerin politik felsefesini yansıtan eğitim programlarının uzak hedefi, hangi program türü olursa olsun öğretmen rehberliğinde, bilişsel, duyuşsal ve devinişsel öğrenme alanlarında çağdaş insanı yetiştirmektir. Eğitim sistemlerinin işleyişini anlamak, sorun alanlarını saptamak, olası düzeltme mekanizmalarını tasarlamak için görüş ve düşüncelerine en az başvurulan paydaş gurubunu da öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, eğitim programının öğeleri ve işleyişi üzerine ortaokul öğrencilerinin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırma durum çalışmasıdır. Araştırmanın verileri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu aracılığıyla otuz öğrenciyle görüşme yapılarak elde edilmiştir. Görüşmeler 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim bahar yarıyılında İzmir İli Bayraklı İlçesi Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı bir ortaokulun, 5.6. ve 7. sınıf öğrencileriyle yapılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, öğrencilerin, eğitim programının amacının; farkındalıkların gelişmesi, mesleğe hazırlanmak ve sosyal ilişkileri geliştirmek olduğunu düşündükleri tespit edilmiştir. Programların içerik boyutunda ise öğrencilerin, fen ve dil dersleri için öğrenme laboratuvarlarına gereksinim duydukları tespit edilmiştir. Öğretim boyutunda ise öğrencilerin, öğretmen ve öğrencinin diyaloga dayalı ders işlenmesinin öğrenmelerine olumlu yönde etki ettiğini ancak diyaloğu eksiklik olarak gördükleri belirlenmiştir. Değerlendirme açısından ise, öğrencilerin, entelektüel ilgi ve özel yeteneklerinin öğretmenler tarafından göz ardı edildiğini, öğrencilerin tutum ve davranışların da değerlendirilmesini belirttikleri tespit edilmiştir.   

The process of achieving the goals in education is the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the individual based on the science and technology accumulation of the era, in accordance with the nature of the subject area and the reality of the society. The distant goal of the education program, which reflects the political philosophy of the countries, is to train modern people in the areas of cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning under the guidance of the teacher, regardless of the program type. The main purpose of this research is to determine the opinions of secondary school students on the elements and functioning of the educational program. The research is a case study. The data of the study were obtained by interviewing thirty students through a semi-structured interview form. The interviews were conducted in the 2017-2018 spring semester with the 5th, 6th and 7th grade students of a secondary school affiliated to the Directorate of National Education of Bayraklı District of Izmir Province. According to the research findings, it has been determined that the students think that the purpose of the educational program is to develop awareness, prepare for the profession and improve social relations. In the content side of the programs, it has been found out that students need learning laboratories for science and language courses. In the teaching side, it has been determined that the students stated that dialogue-based lessons between teachers and students have a positive impact on their learning, also there is a lack of participatory dialogue. In terms of evaluation, it has been determined that students' intellectual interests and special abilities were ignored, and they stated that students' attitudes and behaviors should also be evaluated.
