Konuşma dilin dört temel becerisinden olup; bireylerin anlaşması ve toplumda var olması için en önemli ihtiyaçlardan biridir. Tabi bu becerinin edinimi ve sağlıklı gelişimi üzerinde durulmalıdır. Zira birey, her an gelişen ve değişen bir varlıktır. Tüm bunlar dikkate alındığında beceri edinimi süreci titizlikle incelenmelidir. Özellikle dili ve becerilerini öğretecek ve bu becerilerle öğrencilerine yol gösterecek öğretmen adaylarının dilin becerileri ile ilgili durumlarının ne olduğu üzerinde durulması gereken bir konudur. Bu çalışma ile öğretmen adayları için “Konuşmaya Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini Kafkas Üniversitesi Dede Korkut Eğitim Fakültesi’nde öğrenim gören, rastgele yöntemle seçilmiş 375 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın verileri 2019’da toplanmıştır. Çalışmada gönüllülük esasına dikkat edilmiştir. Öncelikle madde havuzu oluşturulmuş ve uzman görüşleri alınmıştır. Ölçme aracı geliştirilirken sırasıyla açımlayıcı faktör ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, ölçeğin 14 madde ve 1 alt boyuttan oluştuğu belirlenmiştir. Bu alt boyut, “konuşma tutumu” olarak adlandırılmıştır. Daha sonra ölçme aracının iç tutarlığı Cronbach Alpha ile hesaplanmış ve bu veri setinden elde edilen sonuçların oldukça yüksek güvenirliğe sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Yapılan doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçları da ölçeğin farklı çalışma gruplarında da rahatlıkla kullanılabileceğini göstermiştir. Ölçek bu anlamda geçerli ve güvenilir sayılmıştır. Konuşmaya yönelik tutum ölçeği; güncel ve yeni bir ölçme aracı olarak alana katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Speaking is one of the four basic skills of language; It is one of the most important needs for individuals to agree an deist in society. Of course, the acquisition and healty development of this skill sholud be emphasized. Because the individual is an asset that develops and changes at any time. Considering all these, the skill acquisition process should be eamined meticuolusly. It is an issue that needs to be emphasized about what the teacher candidates who will teach the language and skills and guide their students with these skills. The purpose of this study is to develop “The Speaking Attitude Scale” designed for teacher Candidates. The sample of the study, consist of 375 randomly selected prospective teachers studying at Kafkas University Dede Korkut Education Faculty. The data of the study were collected in 2019. In the study, attention was paid to volunteerism. Firstly, an item pool was created and expert opinions were received. While developing the measurement tool, exploratory factor and confirmatory factor analysis were performed respectively. According to the analysis results, it was determined that the scale consisted of 14 items and subscale. This subscale was named as the “speaking attitude”. Then, the internal consistency of the assessment instrument was calculated using Cronbach Alpha coefficient and it was found that the results obtained from the data set had considerably high reliability. Confirmatory factor analysis results also showed that the scale can be easily used in different study groups. The scale was considered valid and reliable in this sense. Speaking attitude scale; it is thought to contribute to the field as a current and new measurement tool.
