The Use Of NLP Techniques In Art Education And Its Effect On Student Studies

In this research, it is aimed to reveal the effects of art education curriculum on student pictures by using Neuro Linguistic Programming Techniques. Pre-test-final test group experimental research model based on the prepared studies were applied. Experiment and control groups were determined from among art students by applying appropriate sampling method. The painting evaluation form (PEF) was developed as a data collection tool to be applied to both groups and the representation systems questionnaire (RSQ) to be applied to the experimental group in order to determine perception styles. The representation systems frequently used by the experimental group students were determined by the applied questionnaire. The representation systems frequently used by the experimental group students were determined by the applied questionnaire. Before and after the application of the curriculum, the study groups were asked to make paintings on “a landscape you want to be in” with the technique of watercolor. After the first water colour studies were done, the experimental group students underwent art education using NLP techniques and the control group underwent an eight week experimental study of traditional art education. The final water colour paintings on the same subject were asked to be made upon completion of the course programmes. When the data analysis was evaluated, it was revealed that the use of NLP techniques and the different themes and statistical results used in art education students ' paintings had positive effects on their point of view.
