The Effect of Preschool Teacher Candidates' Reading Habits on Critical Thinking Skills


While the change and development in the modern world continues continuously, undoubtedly, information about any subject is constantly changing and renewed. For this reason, all the societies in the world we live in gave as much importance to education as possible and they have made every effort to increase the quality of their education systems. The aim of there search is to examine the effects of pre-service pre-service teachers' reading habits on critical thinking skills. In this research, the relational screening model based on quantitative research was carrie out. Regarding there search, from the Bayburt University Ethics Committee dated 12.03.2020 and 79126184-050.99 / E. Ethics committee approval was obtained based on the letter numbered 6399. The scales used in the study were transferred to the electronic environment and presented to the prospective teachers who received under graduate education in the pre-school teaching department of the universities included in the sample and wanted to participate in the study voluntarily (googledriver), they were asked to fill out these forms via the link https://forms.gle/xtLBaqJZJDA44YAr8. Who want to voluntarily support the sample of this research; Turkey's pre-school education in various universities continued its license forms part of the teaching 357 teachers. In there search, “Attitude Scale Towards Reading Habits” and “Critical Thinking Scale” of teacher candidates were used as data collection tool.
