The educational structure in Ankara Province has formed the founding philosophy of the Republic. The educational decisions in the Ankara province, which is the beginning of national and central education, have spread to all provinces and the decisions taken have become the national education policy. The educational structure in Ankara, which is the center of the Republic of Turkey, has been examined and the human model that was intended to be created in the Republican Period has been analyzed. The educational activities and schooling rates of Ankara Province in the early years of the Republic have been given and the point reached in development has been expressed. Thus, it is aimed to contribute to the studies on Turkish Education History. In this study, primary school, secondary school, high school, vocational high school and higher education institutions in the Republican Period have been examined. Since the educational levels are seen as the link in the chain in the educational policy of the Republic, special importance has been given to primary education. During the Republican regime, important studies were carried out for the development of primary, secondary and high schools. In this context, since the importance of vocational and technical education contributing to the socio-economic development of countries is known, efforts have been made to increase the quality of vocational and technical education. The schools opened at the higher education level in Ankara were among the first of the Republican Period. Educational institutions inherited from the Ottoman Empire were modernized and improved, new teachers were appointed and new curricula were implemented.
