Osmanlı coğrafyasında yayımlanan ilk dergiden yaklaşık 60 yıl sonra Konya’da Barika (1909) adlı bir dergi yayımlanmıştır. Bu tarihten 1950’li yılara kadar Konya’da yayımlanan dergiler içerisinde tamamen eğitim amaçlı ilk dergi Öksüz Yurtları Mecmuası, ikincisi de Terbiye Postası’dır. Terbiye Postası, bahsi geçen dönemde tamamen eğitimcilerden oluşan bir kadronun çıkardığı en önemli eğitim dergisidir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, aylık olarak 17 sayı yayımlanmış bu önemli eğitim dergisini tanıtmak, içeriği hakkında bilgiler vermek ve muhtevasını özetlemektir. Çünkü bahsi geçen dergiyle ilgili daha önce akademik bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Çalışmada, derginin teknik özellikleri nelerdir, dergi yazarları kimlerdir, dergideki eğitim üzerine hangi konulardan bahsedilmiştir, dergi sayılarındaki yazı içerikleri nelerdir, gibi sorulara cevap aranmıştır. Terbiye Postası, tamamen eğitim üzerine bir dergi olduğu için, yapılan bu çalışmanın, yayımlandığı dönemin eğitim tarihine ışık tutacağı düşünülmüştür. Daha önce benzer dergiler hakkında bu tür çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Çalışmada doküman taraması yöntemi kullanılmış, derginin muhtelif kütüphanelerden temin edilen sayıları okunup incelenmiştir. Dergilerdeki metinler betimsel analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilmiş, dergi hakkında bilgi veren kaynaklar da incelenmiştir. Derginin içeriği daha çok eğitim ve terbiye ile ilgilidir. Bu metinler özetlenerek verilmiştir. Dergide hemen tamamen eğitim konusu işlenmiş, çocuk terbiyesi, muhtelif derslerin eğitimi, eğitim öğretimde kullanılan metotlar, yöntemler, yapılan ve yapılmak istenen ıslahatlar, toplantılarla ilgili haberler, yazılar, makaleler yayımlanmıştır. Eğitim dışında az da olsa psikoloji, sosyoloji, edebiyat vb. alanlarında da malzeme bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca çalışmanın sonunda dergi sayılarındaki içerikler, sayılarına ve sayfa numaralarına göre sunulmuştur. Bu çalışmayla Konya’da yayımlanan önemli bir eğitim dergisi tanıtılmış, Konya dergileri arasındaki yeri belirtilmiştir. Verilen teknik ve içerik bilgileriyle derginin tanınırlığı sağlanmış olacaktır. Dönemde ortaya konmuş eğitimle ilgili haber, fikir ve gelişmeler takip edilebilecektir. Dergi üzerine, eğitim bilimleri alanında en azından yüksek lisans tezi düzeyinde daha detaylı bir akademik çalışma yapılması önerilmiştir. Aynı şekilde Terbiye Postası’ndan önce yayımlanan ve Konya’nın ilk eğitim amaçlı dergisi olan Öksüz Yurtları Mecmuası’nın bulunamayan diğer sayılarının da bulunarak üzerinde akademik bir çalışma yapılması teklif edilmiştir.

Approximately 60 years after the first magazine was published in Ottoman geography, a magazine titled Barika (1909) was published in Ankara. From this date until the 1950s, the first entirely education-oriented magazine published in Konya was Öksüz Yurtları Mecmuası, followed by Terbiye Postası. Terbiye Postası was the most significant educational magazine of the period, produced entirely by a team of educators. The purpose of this study is to present this significant educational magazine, which was published monthly for 17 issues, offer insights into its content, and summarize its scope, as no prior academic research has been conducted on the subject. This study seeks to answer questions such as: What are the technical features of the magazine? Who are its authors? What educational topics are discussed in the magazine? What are the contents of the articles in its issues? Since Terbiye Postası is a magazine entirely focused on education, this study is expected to shed light on the educational history of the period in which it was published. Similar studies have been conducted in other magazines before. In this study, the document analysis/examination method was used, and various issues of the magazine, obtained from different libraries, were read and analyzed. The texts in the magazines were analyzed using the descriptive analysis method, and sources providing information about the magazine were also examined. The content of the magazine mainly focuses on education and training. These texts have been summarized. The magazine is almost entirely dedicated to education, featuring articles on child upbringing, the teaching of various subjects, methods, and techniques used in education, reforms carried out or planned, as well as news and reports at meetings. Besides education, there is also some content related to psychology, sociology, literature, and similar fields. Additionally, at the end of the study, the contents of the magazine’s issues are presented according to issue numbers and page numbers. With this study, an important educational magazine published in Konya has been introduced, and its place among Konya magazines has been identified. The technical and content-related information provided will contribute to the magazine's recognition. News, ideas, and developments related to education during the period can be traced. It has been suggested that a more detailed academic study, at least at the level of a master's thesis, should be conducted in the field of educational sciences in this magazine. Similarly, it has been proposed that the missing issues of Öksüz Yurtları Mecmuası, the first educational magazine published in Konya before Terbiye Postası, should be found and subjected to academic research.
