Bu çalışmanın amacı, şarkılı oyun uygulamasının ortaokul 5. Sınıf müzik dersinde hız ve gürlük değişimlerinin öğretilmesinde öğrencilerin başarı durumlarına etki edip etmediğini tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın etik izni 02.06.2023 tarihinde Trabzon Üniversitesi Sosyal ve Beşeri Bilimler Bilimsel Araştırma ve Yayın Etiği Kurulu tarafından E-81614018-000-2300033112 sayı numarası ile alınmıştır. Araştırma, ön test ve son test kontrol gruplu model yardımı ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 2022- 2023 eğitim- öğretim yılında Trabzon’da bulunan bir ortaokuldaki 5. Sınıfta öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Bu okuldaki 5. Sınıf öğrencilerinden üç şubedeki toplam 97 öğrenci arasından iki şube seçilmiş ve 62 öğrenci belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada grupların denkliğini sağlamak amacıyla deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencileri, ön test puanları birbirine en yakın olan iki şube arasından seçilmiştir. Araştırmada verileri toplama amacıyla araştırmacılar tarafından uzmanların görüşleri de alınarak oluşturulan “Düzey belirleme testi” kullanılmıştır. Düzey belirleme testi, 5. sınıf müzik dersi müfredatındaki hız ve gürlük kazanımına uygun olarak düzenlenmiştir. Uygulama aşamasında deney grubunda şarkılı oyun uygulaması, kontrol grubunda ise geleneksel eğitim (anlatım, soru- cevap) yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Test yardımıyla elde edilen ön test ve son test puanları istatistiksel olarak işleme tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma bulgularına göre deney ve kontrol grupları son test puanları, anlamlı bir biçimde birbirinden ayrılmamaktadır. Araştırmada şarkılı oyun uygulamaların öğrencilerin müzik dersindeki başarı durumlarını manidar bir şekilde olumlu ya da olumsuz yönde etkilemediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The aim of this study is to determine whether the singing game application affects the students' success status in teaching tempo and dynamic changes in the secondary school fifth grade music lesson. The research was conducted with the help of pre-test-post-test control group model. The study group of the study consists of fifth grade students at a secondary school in Trabzon in the 2022- 2023 academic year. From the fifth-Grade students in this school, two clasrooms were selected from a total of 97 students in three clasrooms and 62 students were identified. To ensure the equivalence of the groups in the research, the experimental and control group students were selected from among the two clasrooms whose pre-test scores were closest to each other. As data collection tools in the research, the level determination test consisting of five items was applied, which was formed by the researchers by taking expert opinions. The level determination test has been arranged in accordance with the tempo and dynamic gains in the fifth grade music lesson curriculum. At the application stage, the game application with songs was used in the experimental group and the traditional education (lecture, question-answer) approach was used in the control group. The pre-test and post-test scores obtained with the help of the test were statistically processed. According to the research findings, the final test scores of the experimental and control groups are not separated significantly. In the research, it has been concluded that singing game applications do not significantly affect students' success status in music lessons in a positive or negative way.
