Bilim ve teknolojinin hızlı gelişimi, cep telefonu, bilgisayar, tablet gibi interneti kullanarak insanları bilgiye kolayca ulaştıran ve sosyalleştiren aletlerin kolay ulaşılabilir olması ve yaygınlaşması insanların önceliklerini, tercihlerini belirlemiş 21. yüzyılda insan ihtiyaçları bu doğrultuda değişmiştir. Değişen insan ihtiyaçlarına paralel olarak öğretim programları da güncellenmiştir. Güncellenen programlara ve ders kitaplarına dijital yeterliliklerin ne ölçüde yansıdığı önemlidir. Kendi içerisinde birkaç becerinin toplamından meydana gelen dijital yetkinlik kısaca, bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerini amaca uygun güvenli ve eleştirel olarak kullanabilme becerisi şeklinde tanımlanabilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı 2019 Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı’nda bahsi geçen dijital yetkinliğe ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarında ne kadar yer verildiğini tespit etmektir. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama modelinde bir çalışma olup verilerin elde edilmesinde doküman analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile yorumlanmıştır. Her ne kadar güncellenen programlarda dijitalleşmeye ve dijital yetkinliklere değinilse de ders kitaplarında dijital yetkinliğe yeterli derecede yer verilmediği, az sayıda yer alan dijital yetkinliklerin de dijital okuryazarlık ve dijital güvenlikle ilgili olduğu diğer alt becerilere tek bir metin haricinde değinilmediği görülmüştür. Bilhassa, dünya üzerinde yaşanan büyük salgınlardan biri olan Covid-19 salgını ve sonrasında eğitimin uzaktan gerçekleştirilmesi, dijital teknolojileri kullanabilen bireylerin kullanamayanlara göre daha avantajlı olduğunu göstermiştir. Günümüzün insan ihtiyaçlarına göre güncellenen ders programları ders kitaplarına da birebir yansımalı, çağın gerektirdiği insan modelini yetiştirmek için gerekli olan dijital yetkinlikler sadece Bilişim Teknolojileri dersi ile sınırlı olmamalıdır. Öğrenci girdiği bütün derslerde dijital çağın gereği olan bilgi ve beceriler bütünü ile basitten karmaşığa yeri geldikçe karşılaşmalıdır. Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı’nda bahsi geçen dijital yetkinliklerin de kazandırılabilmesi için Türkçe ders kitaplarında metin, etkinlik, hazırlık soruları, gelecek derse hazırlık, görseller boyutunda dijital yetkinlikler işlenmeli, bu beceri kazandırılmaya çalışılmalıdır.

The rapid development of science and technology, the easy accessibility and widespread use of devices such as mobile phones, computers, tablets, which enable people to easily access information and socialize, have determined people's priorities and preferences, and human needs have changed in this direction in the 21st century. Curriculum has been updated in parallel with the changing human needs. It is important to what extent digital competencies are reflected in the updated programs and textbooks. Digital competence, which consists of the sum of several skills in itself, can be briefly defined as the ability to use information and communication technologies in a safe and critical manner. The aim of this study is to determine how much digital competence mentioned in the 2019 Turkish Language Curriculum is included in secondary school Turkish textbooks. The study is a survey model, one of the qualitative research methods, and document analysis technique was used to obtain the data. The obtained data were interpreted by content analysis. Although digitalization and digital competencies are mentioned in the updated programs, it has been observed that digital competencies are not sufficiently included in the textbooks, and digital competencies in a small number are related to digital literacy and digital security, and other sub-skills are not mentioned except for a single text. In particular, the Covid-19 epidemic, which is one of the biggest epidemics in the world, and the subsequent realization of education have shown that individuals who can use digital technologies are more advantageous than those who cannot. Curriculums updated according to today's human needs should be reflected in the textbooks, and the digital competencies required to train the human model required by the age should not be limited to the Information Technologies course. In all the courses that the student attends, he/she should encounter the whole of knowledge and skills required of the digital age, from simple to complex as appropriate. In order to gain the digital competencies mentioned in the Turkish Language Curriculum, digital competencies in the dimensions of text, activities, preparation questions, preparation for the next lesson, and visuals should be taught in Turkish textbooks, and these skills should be tried to be gained.
