Teknolojideki gelişmelerle birlikte bilgiye ulaşmak çok kolay olmaktadır. Özellikle internet ortamında yer alan bilgilerin fazlalığı ve erişimin kolay olması bilgi arayan genç kuşağa sunulmuş bir mükafattır. Ancak bu bilgilerin fazlalığı bilgi kirliliğinin de oluşmasına neden olmaktadır. Burada internet ortamında bilgi arayan genç kuşağın eriştikleri bilgileri nasıl ve ne şekilde gerekçelendirdikleri önemli bir durumdur. Bu sebepten dolayı bu çalışmamızda Türk kültürüne uyarlanan internete özgü epistemik gerekçelendirme ölçeğinin beden eğitimi ve spor öğretimine uyarlanması amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırmayla beden eğitimi ve spor yüksek okulu öğrencilerinin internete araştırmış oldukları bilgileri nasıl ve ne şekilde gerekçelendirdikleri incelenmektedir. Araştırma gurubunu Adıyaman üniversitesi beden eğitimi ve spor yüksek okulu öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya toplamda 197 öğrenci katılmıştır. Türk kültürüne uyarlanan internete özgü epistemik gerekçelendirme ölçeği 13 madde ve üç alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır.  İnternete özgü epistemik gerekçelendirme ölçeğinin beden eğitimi ve spor öğretimine uyarlanabilmesi için verilerin analizinde SPSS ve AMOS programları kullanılmıştır. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ve alfa iç tutarlılık hesaplamaları sonuçlarında internete özgü epistemik gerekçelendirme ölçeğinin beden eğitimi ve spor öğretimine uyarlanmasında ölçeğin geçerli ve güvenilir olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca ölçek alt boyutları arasında pozitif ve çok güçlü bir ilişki olduğu da görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak araştırmayı oluşturan öğrencilerin internet ortamında beden eğitimi ve spor öğretimine ilişkin araştırmış oldukları bilgileri gerekçelendirdikleri görülmüştür.

It is very easy to reach information with technological developments. Especially the abundance of information on the internet and the ease of access is a reward offered to the young generation seeking information. However, the excess of this information also causes information pollution. In the solution of this problem, how and in what way the young generation looking for information on the internet justified the information they accessed is an important situation. For this reason, in this study, it is aimed to adapt the internet-specific epistemic justification scale, which was previously adapted to Turkish culture, to physical education and sports teaching. This research examines how physical education and sports academy students justify the information they researched on the internet. The research group consists of Adıyaman University physical education and sports academy students. A total of 197 students participated in the study. The Internet-specific epistemic justification scale adapted to Turkish culture consists of 13 items and three sub-dimensions. SPSS and AMOS programs were used in the analysis of the data to adapt the Internet-specific epistemic justification scale to physical education and sports teaching. According to the results of the confirmatory factor analysis and alpha internal consistency calculations, it was seen that the scale was valid and reliable in the adaptation of the Internet-specific epistemic justification scale to physical education and sports teaching. In addition, it is observed that there is a positive and very strong relationship between the scale sub-dimensions. As a result, it was seen that the students making up the research justified the information they researched about physical education and sports teaching on the internet.
