COVİD-19 pandemisi boyunca eğitim sürecinin yazılı basına yansımalarını ve basında yer alan haberlerin eğitim paydaşlarının kafalarındaki soru işretlerini ne ölçüde giderdiğini belirlemeyi amaçlayan bu araştırma, karma yöntem desenlerinden biri olan keşfedici sıralı karma desene uygun olarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırma verileri için nitel veri toplama yönteminden faydalanılmış ve 11 Mart- 1 Haziran tarihleri arasında günlük yayın yapan tirajı en yüksek, 12 yerli gazetenin eğitim ile ilgili yayınladığı 434 haber doküman olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın nitel analizi boyutunda, taranan haberler kategorilere ayrılmış ve bu kategorilerin alt grup kategorileri de oluşturularak anlamsal içerik analizi (semantik analiz) yapılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda; tüm eğitim kurumlarının süreçten etkilenmemek adına bir takım çalışmalarda bulunduğu, hazırlanan sınav türlerine ait bilgilerin basında çok fazla yer aldığı, eğitimde alınan önlemler ve yaşanan aksaklıklar üzerine yapılan haberlerin dünya basınının gündemini oluşturduğu belirlenmiştir. Meslek liselerinin halka yönelik desteklerde bulunduğu, ayrıca en fazla burs ve kredi desteklerinden bahsedildiği saptanmıştır. Online eğitimle birlikte teknoloji ve aktivite önerisi içerikli haberlere daha fazla yer verildiği görülmüştür. Ayrıca eğitimde yaşanan aksaklıkların basına yansıma biçimi ve yaşanan sorunlara yer verilmiştir. Araştırmadaki nicel boyut ise analiz aşamasında devreye girmiştir. Araştırmanın nicel analiz boyutunda ise, eğitim haberlerinin, zaman ve hafta bazındaki haber sayılarına ait ilişkisel düzeylerinin belirlenebilmesi amacıyla korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Analiz esnasında haberler tarih ve sayı bakımından kıyaslandığında haber sayısı ve zamanı arasında yüksek düzeyde negatif bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. 

This study, which aims to determine the reflections of the education process on the print media during the COVID-19 pandemic and to what extent the news in the press have eliminated the question marks in the minds of education stakeholders, was conducted in accordance with the exploratory sequential mixed pattern, which is one of the mixed method patterns. Qualitative data collection method was used for the research data and 434 news articles published by 12 local newspapers with the highest circulation daily between March 11 and June 1 were used as documents. In the qualitative analysis dimension of the research, the scanned news was divided into categories and semantic content analysis (semantic analysis) was performed by creating subgroup categories of these categories. As a result of the analysis; It has been determined that all educational institutions carry out some studies in order not to be affected by the process, information on the types of exams prepared is very common in the press, and the news about the measures taken and the problems experienced in education constitute the agenda of the world press. It has been determined that vocational high schools provide public support, and scholarships and credit supports are mentioned the most. With online education, it was seen that news with technology and activity suggestions were given more space. In addition, the way in which the problems experienced in education are reflected in the media and the problems experienced are included. The quantitative dimension in the research came into play in the analysis phase. In the quantitative analysis dimension of the study, correlation analysis was conducted in order to determine the relational levels of the educational news on the basis of time and week news. During the analysis, when the news was compared in terms of date and number, it was concluded that there was a highly negative relationship between the number and time of the news.
