Bu çalışmanın amacı ilkokul 3. Sınıf öğrencilerinin sosyal-duygusal ahlaki gelişimleri ile öğretmen ve öğrencilerin bu konudaki görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Mersin Merkez ilçelerindeki ilkokullara devam eden üçüncü sınıf öğrencileri ve ilkokul üçüncü sınıf öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Bu evrenden kolay ulaşılabilir durum örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak sekiz devlet okulunda üçüncü sınıfa devam eden 399 ilkokul öğrencisi ve 24 ilkokul üçüncü sınıf öğretmeni belirlenmiştir. Araştırma verileri 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim yılı Ekim ayında toplanmıştır. Araştırmada Sosyal-Duygusal ve Ahlaki Gelişim Ölçeği, Öğretmen Görüş Formu ve Öğrenci Görüş formu veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca üçüncü sınıf öğrencilerine ve öğretmenlerine kişisel bilgi formu doldurularak kişisel bilgileri alınmıştır. Araştırmada, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma gibi betimsel analizlerin yanında Anova, t testi analizleri ve nitel analiz kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda nicel boyutta; ilkokul 3. Sınıf öğrencilerinin sosyal duygusal ve ahlaki gelişimlerinin yüksek olduğu, sosyal aktivitelerle ilgilenen öğrencilerin ilgilenmeyen öğrencilere göre sosyal- duygusal ve ahlaki gelişimlerinin daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra, nitel boyutta ise, öğretmen ve öğrencilerin sosyal duygusal ve ahlaki gelişim konusundaki görüşlerine bakıldığında da öğrencilerin aile, öğretmen ve arkadaşlarına olumlu davranışlara sahip olduğu görüşünde bulundukları, öğretmenlerin öğrencilerinin sosyal duygusal ve ahlaki gelişimlerinin yeterli düzeyde olduğu görüşünde bulundukları sonucuna varılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar alanyazın ışığında tartışılmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda hem araştırmacılar hem de uygulayıcılar için öneriler sunulmuştur.

The purpose of this study is to examine the social- emotional moral developments of primary scholl 3^rd grade students and the opinions of teachers and students on this subject. Survey method is used in this research. The universe of the research constitutes 3^rd grade students of primary scholl who attend in Mersin central district and 3^rd grade teachers of primary schools. It is determined that 399 primary scholl students attending 3^rd grade at the eight public schools and 24 primary school third grade teachers by using easily accessible state sampling method from this universe.  The data of the study was done in October of the 2019- 2020 educational year. In this research, social- emotional and moral development scale, opinion forms, personal information forms are used as data collection tools. In this research, Anova, t test analysis and qualitative analysis are used besides descriptive analysis such as arithmetic average and standart deviation. As a result of the research, from the quantitative integration, it has been concluded that the social- emotional and moral developments of the 3rd grade students are high and the students, active in their social lives, have higher performance in comparison with the others. At the qualitative data, it has been concluded that; - according to the students they are kind to their families, teachers and friends, - according to the teachers the social- emotional and moral developments of the students are adequate. The results obtained were discussed and interpreted in the light of the literature. In line with the results obtained, suggestions were made for both researchers and practitioners.
