Araştırmada katılımcıların Türkiye’deki bir devlet üniversitesinin Türkçe Öğretmenliği programındaki Öğretmenlik Uygulaması dersi kapsamında yürütülen ders imecesi modeline ilişkin algı ve deneyimlerini tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması olarak desenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu dersin yürütücüsü öğretim elemanı, uygulama öğretmeni ve dört öğretmen adayından oluşmaktadır. Araştırma verileri gözlem, görüşme ve dokümanlar aracılığıyla toplanmış; veriler içerik analizi yoluyla incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda olumlu tecrübeler, hazırlıklar, olumsuzluklar ve katkılar olmak üzere dört tema ortaya çıkmıştır. Sonuçlar katılımcıların ders imecesi modeline ilişkin olumlu tecrübelerinin lisans eğitimi sürecinin niteliğine, grup üyeleri arasındaki uyumuna bağlı olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının lisans eğitimleri derslerinde yaptıkları uygulamaların ders imecesi modelini uygulama sürecinde etkili plan hazırlamalarını sağladığı ve sınıf yönetimini güçlendirdiği tespit edilmiştir. Grup üyeleri arasındaki olumlu etkileşimin sürecin verimliliğini artırdığı görülmüştür. Hazırlık sürecinde öğretmen adaylarının sınıfta öğrenciyi etkin kılacak ve onları derse motive edecek etkinlikler hazırlamaya çalıştıkları ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca öğretim elemanı ve uygulama öğretmeninin desteğini alma gibi yardım arama, önceki programları inceleme gibi araştırma yapma stratejilerinden yararlandıkları görülmüştür. Sorunlara ilişkin sonuçlar, sorunların daha çok ortaokul öğrencilerinin motivasyonlarına bağlı olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca süreçte ders imecesi modeli ve iş yüküne bağlı sorunlar tespit edilmiş, sorunların katılımcılarda birtakım olumsuz duygulara sebep olduğu saptanmıştır. Ders imecesi modelinin öğretmenlik tecrübesine ve iş birliğine katkı sağladığı görülmüştür.

The objective of this research was to determine the participants' perception and experiences regarding the lesson study (kenkyu jugyo) model conducted within the Teaching Practice Course in the Turkish Language Education program of a public university in Turkey. This research was designed as a case study which is a form of qualitative research. The study group of the research consisted of an instructor, an application teacher and four teacher candidates. Research data were collected through observations, interviews and documents, and the data were analyzed through content analysis. As a result of the research, four themes emerged: positive experiences, preparations, problems and contributions. The results revealed that the positive experiences of the participants regarding the lesson study model depended on the quality of the undergraduate education process and the harmony among the group members. As a result of the research, it was determined that the applications of the teacher candidates in the undergraduate courses enabled them to prepare effective plans in the process of applying the lesson study model and strengthened their classroom management. It was observed that the positive interaction among the group members increased the efficiency of the process. It was revealed that the teacher candidates tried to prepare activities that would make the students active in the classroom and motivate them for the lesson during the preparation process. In addition, they were seen to benefit from research strategies such as seeking help, examining previous programs and getting the support of the instructor and the application teacher. The results regarding the problems indicated that the problems were mostly due to the motivations of the secondary school students. In addition, problems related to the lesson study model and workload were identified in the process, and it was determined that the problems caused some negative emotions in the participants. It was seen that the lesson study model contributed to the teaching experience and cooperation.
