Araştırmada, Türkiye’deki mesleki müzik eğitimi veren yükseköğretim kurumlarında görev yapan öğretim elemanları görüşleri doğrultusunda Türk müziği çalgı öğretiminde kullanılan çalgı öğretim yöntemlerini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, betimsel bir araştırma olup tarama modeli ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Türkiye’deki mesleki müzik eğitimi veren yükseköğretim kurumlarında görev yapan 62 öğretim elemanı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, veri toplama aracı olarak, üç bölümden oluşan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Hazırlanan anketin birinci bölümünde katılımcıların demografik bilgilerine, ikinci bölümünde kullandıkları çalgı öğretim yöntemlerinin tespitine, üçüncü bölümünde ise metotlarda aradıkları özellikler ve çalgı öğretiminde kullandıkları metotların tespitine yönelik sorular sorulmuştur. Araştırmanın bulguları sonuncunda, başlangıç düzeyi çalgı öğretiminde öncelik verilen durumların; duruş-tutuş bilgisi, çalgı bilgisi ve teknik bilgiler olduğu, orta düzeyde; teknik bilgiler, entonasyon, eser icrası ve makam bilgisi olduğu, ileri düzeyde; eser icrası, taksim becerisi, makam bilgisi ve teknik bilgiler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Her düzeyde yazılı etüt ve egzersiz kullanıldığı, teknik çalışmalara çokça yer verildiği, teknik çalışmaların hem eser hem de etütler üzerinde verildiği tespit edilmiştir. Başlangıç ve orta düzeyde metot kullanıldığı, ileri düzeyde kullanılmadığı sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca katılımcıların, meşk yoluyla öğretimi en çok ileri düzeyde ve orta düzeyde kullandıkları ve meşk yoluyla öğretimde yazılı bir materyal kullanmadıkları sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

The purpose of the study is to determine the instrument teaching methods used in Turkish music teaching in accordance with the opinions of lecturers working on professional music education in higher education institutions in Turkey. The research is a descriptive research and is carried out with a screening model. The study group of the research consists of the 62 lecturers working on higher education institutions that provide professional music education. In the research, a three-part questionnaire is used as a data collection tool. In the first part of the questionnaire; questions regarding demographic informations of the participants, in the second part, questions related to the determination of the instrument teaching methods they use, and in the third part, questions regarding the features of the methods and the determination of methods that they use in instrument education are asked. As a result of the findings of the study, it is determined that in the beginning level, stance-holding information, instrument information and technical information are given priority, in the intermediate level, technical information, intonation, performance and position information are given priority, and in the advanced level, performance, improvisation skill, position information and technical information are given priority. It is determined that written studies and exercises are used at all levels, technical studies are widely included, and technical studies are given on both works and studies. It is concluded that beginning and intermediate level methods are used but advanced level method is not used. In addition, it is concluded that the participants used teaching with Meshk system in advanced and intermediate levels and they did not use any written matterials in teaching with Meshk system.
