Bütün işletmeler bazı amaçlarla kurulur ve faaliyetlerini bu amaçlara ulaşmak için icra ederler. İşletmelerin amaçlarına ulaşma derecesi ise performansları ile doğru orantılıdır. Bu noktada işletme performansının önemli belirleyicilerinden biri olarak girişimsel yönelim dikkat çekmektedir. Bir başka ifadeyle işletmelerin risk alma, yenilikçilik, girişkenlik, rekabetçilik ve özerklik özelliklerinin işletme performansı açısından belirleyici olduğu söylenebilir. Bu araştırmanın amacı işletmelerin girişimsel yönelimleri ile işgören performansı arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek ve girişimsel yönelim boyutlarının (yenilikçilik, proaktiflik, risk alma, rekabetçi agresiflik, özerklik) işgören performansına etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın verileri 2019 yılında Van ili organize sanayi bölgesinde faaliyet gösteren firmalardaki 302 işgörenden elde edilmiştir.  Verilerin toplanması sürecinde “Girişimsel Yönelim Ölçeği” ve “İşgören Performansı Ölçeği”  kullanılmıştır. Toplanan verilerin analizinde aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma, Pearson çarpım momentler korelasyon katsayısı ve basamaklı regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada sonuç olarak, işletmelerin girişimsel yönelim özelliklerinin orta düzeyin üzerinde,  işgören performansının ise yüksek düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir.  Bunun yanında, girişimsel yönelim özellikleri (risk alma, proaktiflik, yenilikçilik, rekabetçi agresiflik ve özerklik) ile işgören performansı arasında orta düzeyde, pozitif yönde ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu; proaktiflik, rekabetçi agresiflik ve özerkliğin işgören performansını %27.4 oranında etkilediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Girişimsel yönelim ve işgören performansı arasındaki anlamlı ilişkiler ve girişimsel yönelimin işgören performansı üzerindeki olumlu etkisinden hareketle işletmelerin girişimsel yönelimlerini iyileştirmeleri gerektiği söylenebilir.

The degree of achievement of the goals of the enterprises is directly proportional to the performance. At this point, entrepreneurial orientation draws attention as one of the important determinants of business performance. In other words, it can be said that the risk taking, innovativeness, initiative, competitiveness and autonomy characteristics of the enterprises are determinative in terms of business performance. The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation of enterprises and employee performance and to determine the effect of entrepreneurial orientation dimensions (innovation, proactivity, risk taking, competitive aggressiveness, autonomy) on employee performance. The data of the research were obtained from 302 participants working in companies operating in the Van province organized industrial zone. In the process of data collection, "Entrepreneurial Orientation Scale" and "Employee Performance Scale" were used. Descriptive statistics (mean and standart deviation), Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and stepwise regression analysis were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, it was found that the entrepreneurial orientation characteristics of the firms are above the medium level, and it was found that employee performance was high. Finally, there was a moderate, positive and significant relationship between entrepreneurial orientation characteristics (risk taking, proactivity, innovativeness, competitive aggressiveness and autonomy) and employee performance, and it was concluded that proactivity, competitive aggression and autonomy affect employee performance by 27.4%. Considering the significant relationships between entrepreneurial orientation and employee performance and the positive effect of entrepreneurial orientation on employee performance, it can be said that businesses should improve their entrepreneurial orientation.
