The Effect Of Motor Skills in Children to the Problem Solving Skills, Aggression And Empathy Behaviours


Aim: The effect of gross motor skills and fine motor skills at age 10-11, to the problem solving skills, agression and empathy behaviours is examined in this research. Material and Method: At ages 10-11 students, studying at some schools of Sinop and Samsun being bound to Ministry of National Education, have attended to this survey. From two provinces 360 students in total have been conducted aggression, empathy and problem solving pull test and grand muscle skills test were applied to 80 students in total who got the high estand the lowest point being obtained from survey done. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test has been used for normality test of values obtained from datum. Independent-t test was used for in the paired comparison of participants different variables showing normal distribution datum. Person Corelation test has been used for determining the different parameters of the participant groups. Findings: The highest and the lowest agression, empathy and problem solving score of participant sincluding in the research has been compared with the scores of gross muscle and small muscle skills. It hasn’t been found any difference between the avarage of gross motor skill and fine motor skill score being related to participants. Conclusion: As a result, it can be said that at the 10-11 aged children, motor skills hasn’t any effect on problem solving, according to datum obtained from our sample group.
