INVESTIGATING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN WORKING LIFE QUALITY AND MOBBING BEHAVIORS TOWARDS

The purpose of this is to investigate the relationship between job-life satisfaction and mobbing behaviours towards academic staff who are working in Physical Education and Sports Schools, Sports Science Faculties and Physical Education and Sports departments. With the purpose of determining mobbing behaviours towards Academic Staff; Mobbing Scale towards Academicians developed by Leymann (1990), and adopted to Turkish by Çöğen and Asunakutlu (2014). Reliability of test was determined through Cronbach Alpha coefficient. The reliability towards the entire scale was determined as α=0,970. Job Life Quality Scale developed by Chen and Farh. (2000) and adopted to Turkish by Yıldız (2013) and scale was tested by two researchers and Cronbach Alpha coefficient was determined as α=0,839. Expressions used in either scale were; “1=Strongly Disagree”, “2=Disagree”, “3=Neutral”, “4=Agree”, “5=Strongly Agree”.The sample and population of study consisted of sports schools in universities and volunteer academic staff working in these foundations. Data were obtained through simple random sampling determined previously. Statistical analysis of data was carried out by Spss 22 Package Program. Parametric tests were used which indicated normal distribution according to skewness and kurtosis values. Independent T test for two independent variables and one way variance analysis for more than two independent variables were used. Correlation test was used for the analysis of Job Satisfaction Quality and Mobbing. As a result, job-life satisfaction of academic staff who were exposed to mobbing behaviors were affected in negative way, and also job life balances, social relationships, managerial reward, and occupational psychological healths were affected negatively.
