THE DESCRIPTION OF GRADUATE THESES IN SOLFEGGIO FIELD


It is seen that among the basic courses of the institutions where vocational music education is given, there are courses such as solfeggio, musical hearing and reading which gives the ability of reading note and recognizing music writing. While Solfeggio courses provide the ability to read and analyze music, it is important in terms of both in musical development and transferring the music to the audience and the development of methods and techniques used in the delivery of courses may develop faster in the light of graduate studies in this field. This research examines the graduate theses for solfeggio courses and deals with these theses according to genre, university, institute, main science / art branch, year, subject, permission status and methods. Thus, it was aimed to give general information to those who will work in this field and to explain on which subjects were concentrated and which subjects were less. This research is a descriptive study based on the scanning model, determination of the research topic and methods needed for new studies in the field of solfege, identification of the problems and deficiencies in the studies carried out, the formation of the information and products that will be needed for the future studies and the source of the researches to be made on this subject. and the classification of the studies in the field of solfege As a result of the research, a total of 88 graduate theses, 66 Masters, 21 PhD and 1 Proficiency in Art, were attained. Together with statistical analyzes, all theses were examined in line with the determined criteria and the current situation was set forth.
