Increasing international trade in the globalizing world as well as the rapid growth in information, communication, and transportation technologies have led to an increase in customer numbers in the aviation transportation sector, which is the most advantageous way of fast, safe, and comfortable transportation. The increase in the number of customers has laid the foundation for the intensification of competition among the aviation enterprises in this sector and the tendency of enterprises in this sector to search for strategic management of all organizational resources, especially human resources. Thus, the number of academic research that will contribute to the development of positive behaviors, such as organizational commitment, negative employee behaviors that reduce organizational productivity, such as intent to leave, has increased. This research was conducted in combination with qualitative and quantitative research methods to determine the impacts of the three dimensions of organizational commitment behaviors of workers in civil aviation ground services on the intention to leave. The literature on the subject of the research was examined and research hypotheses on the collected information were developed. A questionnaire was conducted with 242 samples from Ankara Esenboğa Airport employees. Research hypotheses have been tested after the data collected via questionnaire forms have been tested in SPSS and AMOS programs for the reliability, validity, and confirmatory analyses. In the test of research hypotheses, correlation, and SEM analysis were used respectively. Finally, as a result of the research, it was understood that the organizational commitment of the employees has negative effects on the intention to leave.
