A RESEARCH ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MOBBING AND TURNOVER INTENTION


The main aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the perceived mobbing behaviors of private sector employees and their intention to leave. In this context, 258 employees were employed in different sectors. In the study, mobbing behaviors, social relations and mobbing behaviors related to quality of life, self-demonstration and mobbing behaviors for communication, mobbing behaviors towards reputation, mobbing behaviors towards reputation and mobbing behaviors of the individual are discussed. The turnover intention was examined in one dimension. The intention to quit is a result of the attitudes and behaviors of the individual towards his / her work. An individual thinking about leaving his job due to feeling irrelevant to his work. The turnover intention is not the end of the work from the end of this process is the stage. In the study, there was a moderate positive relationship between mobbing and mobbing sub-dimensions and intention to quit. In other words, employees' perceived intention to quit as higher mobbing behavior increased.
