Mobbing Learning Levels of School Administrators and Teachers Working in Primary School


Mobbing is a phenomenon that is commonly seen in every segment of the community and adversely affect the individual’s health and psychology. Mobbing against those working in the educational sector particularly makes a lasting impact on the students and educational workplace. In this study, the level, characteristics and who practices of the Teachers and managers working in Primary schools in which they are exposed to intimidation in the Working environment were investigated. The research sample consists of 155 teachers and managers working in 10 primary schools located in three districts of Istanbul province. The data on the intimidation actions of Teachers and managers working in Primary schools were collected in a questionnaire prepared with a five-likert system. The data were analyzed using the SPSS data analysis program and the arithmetic mean, Mann Whitney and Kruskal Wallis test were used. As a result of the research, the variables, age, seniority, marital status and task in the intimidation action sex posed by Teachers and school Administrators working in Primary schools are the most significant Differences among the groups. The results of these variables were found to be that employees between 29-34 years of age were subjected to more intimidation actions than teachers, compared to the other seniority ranges of employees between 6-10 years of age. The majority of the intimidation acts that occur in Primary schools are practiced by men. It was determined that the age range of the people who Applied intimidation was within the age range of 36-48 years.38.1% of respondents who responded to the Survey did not inform about it because of different reservations.
