THE PREVALENCE OF USİNG ADDİCTİVE SUBSTANCES FOR PHYSİCAL EDUCATİON TEACHER, AND THE ANALYSİS OF THEİR ATTİTUDES TOWARDS THE İNDİVİDUALS WHO USE THEM (EXAMPLE OF MARDİN PROVİNCE)


This research is based on variables such as the prevalence of addictive substance, attitudes toward addictive substances and addictive individuals, genders, ages, education status of parents, economical situation,knowledge and experimentation of physical education teachers. The scope of research is comprising of 412 phsical education teachers actively working in Mardin Province at 2018-2019 education year. The sample of research is also comprising of 218 physical education teachers randomly selected from the scope of the research by using descriptive research method of survey model. To determine the demographic characteristics of the participants, ‘ Personal İnformation Form’ is used ın addition likert type attitude scale for reliability by Tansel (2006) is also used to determine attidudes towards additive substances. Due to the fact that the sample group is consists of teachers, many dependent variables did not differ significantly. According to the findings of the research, teachers attitudes towards addictive individuals differentiate significantly defending on individuals in their own family and mothers education status. There was no significant differences regarding some variables such as age, gender, income statues or how many years they worked it is predicted that this research could be create a significant achievement on determination of usage addictive substance and attitudes foward these substances.
