The study group was comprised of 228 adolescents attending to secondary schools in Hatay city center and their parents. In order to gather socio-demographic data from adolescents and their parents, an Individual Information Form prepared by the authors, in order to asssess the cyberbullying behaviors of the adolescents Cyberbullying Scale and in order to assess internet addiction of the adolescents Internet Addiction Scale were administered. On the other hand in order assess the parents’ neglectful behaviors Multdimensional Neglectful Behaviors Scale-Parents Form was administered. Prior to the onset of the data analysis, a normality test was conducted. The result of the test revealed that the data is non-parametric. Hence, Spearman correlation coefficients were taken into consideration in the analysis. As a result of the study, it was found that 14.9% of the adolescents were internet addicts and 40.8% of them were engaged in cyberbullying behaviors for at least once. It was also found that the level of parents’ neglectful behaviors towards their children is significantly associated with internet addiction and cyberbullying behaviors of their children; that is, the higher the level of parents’ neglectful behaviors was, the higher were the level of internet addiction and cyberbullying in their children.
