The Attitudes of School Administrators towards Reporting Child Abuse

In this research, it is aimed to indicate the attitudes of school administrators towards reporting child abuse. The sample of the research is composed of 340 administrators in pre-schools, middle schools, and secondary schools. The data was gathered through the Attitude Scale towards Child Abuse. Along with the descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA were utilized in the study. In the study, it was observed that there is not a significant relationship between such variables as the gender, position, and school of the administrators. Besides, compared to other education levels, a study investigating the reason for the negative attitudes of the middle school administrators towards reporting child abuse is suggested to be put into practice.
