The leadership style of the managers has a direct effect on the way of doing business. The concept of conflict management styles included in the study also aims to address this issue. The relationship between the leadership style of the managers and the conflict management styles is the subject of the study. In this study, the leadership style of the managers in the Turkish and Swedish business culture and the effect of this concept on the conflict management style are examined. Leadership styles and conflict management styles are discussed in the research. In the model, leadership styles variables are authoritarian leadership, democratic leadership, laissez faire leadership, transformational leadership and transactional leadership. Conflict management styles are integrating, obliging, avoiding, dominating and compromising. The questionnaire was applied to 300 people, 150 Turkish and 150 Swedish managers. The first part is the demographic form prepared to get the participants' information, the second part is the Autocratic, Democratic and Laissez Faire leadership styles developed by Northouse (2016) and the Transformational – Transactional leadership styles developed by Bass & Avolio and the third part is the conflict management styles developed by Rahim (1983) (ROCI-II). The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed in SPSS 21.0 and AMOS program. First of all, confirmatory factor analysis was performed for the scales. Then, correlation analysis and regression analysis will be applied in the analysis of explanatory statistics and hypotheses for the analysis of demographic data. When the leadership styles of Turkish and Swedish executives are examined in general, it is seen that while Turkish executives have leadership styles of democratic and transformational leadership sub-dimensions (individual interest, intellectual stimulation), Swedish managers have the leadership style of release and transformational leadership sub-dimension. In other respects, while the Swedish managers mostly resort to dominance and compliance in the conflict resolution method, it is seen that avoidance and integration are more common among Turkish managers.
